Great Wall Cares is excited to announce the development of our own Great Wall Charity Marathon! This new marathon will serve as the main event to our calendar of charitable activities. Spanning over 6,000km and long admired as one of the most amazing achievements in the history of mankind, the Great Wall will now serve as one of the most unique locations for a marathon.  The Great Wall Charity Marathon is a tough, beautiful and definitely extraordinary experience. The rugged steps of the Great Wall will put your body to the test, and the breath-taking surroundings will compete with your tired muscles for attention. The Great Wall Charity Marathon is the ideal way to combine exploring one of the world’s most astonishing sights as well as giving back to the people and communities of rural China.

No runner should enter The Great Wall Charity Marathon believing that this is an easy course. However, no one should think that this is an impossible challenge reserved exclusively for the running elite. Don't be scared; just make sure to come prepared.
