Afternoon transfer
Travel from Beijing to Gubeikou and start with the route briefing.
Gubeikou ridge
Follow the old ramparts over open mountain terrain.
Toward Jinshanling
Continue east to the transition into Jinshanling’s watchtower landscape.
Golden-hour pause
Stop at the agreed viewpoint while there is still time to exit safely.
Descend
Use the confirmed trail down to the waiting vehicle.
Return to Beijing
Drive back after the late-day walk.
