More than a viewpoint
Walk tower to tower and understand how the Wall follows the natural defense line.
Huanghuacheng brings mountain Wall and lake scenery into one walk. Continue toward Xishuiyu for a quieter landscape than the familiar city-side viewpoints.

This is the planned sequence. Departure time, access, meals and the exact exit are confirmed for your travel date.
Drive to the Huanghuacheng area and review the route beside the reservoir.
Begin on the path to the Wall, gaining height above the water.
Follow the Wall over wooded hills. Pause to look across the lake and see how the ramparts meet the shoreline.
Continue toward the Xishuiyu side as far as the agreed route and access allow.
Leave the ridge for a local meal and a final lake viewpoint.
Drive back to Beijing; an Olympic Park stop can be planned only if the day’s timing permits.
Expect irregular surfaces and uphill stretches. Ask us to set a shorter or longer route around your group.
We will confirm the trail entrance, exit, walking distance, transport and guiding language for your date. Access and conditions can change with the season.
Share your travel date, group size, ages and hiking experience. We will send a current route plan with the meeting point, expected walking time, transport, meals, equipment where relevant, and a clear list of what is included. Private departures can be shaped around your pace; group departures follow their published schedule.
