Meet at the designated Beijing station or follow the supplied ticket and meeting instructions.
Arrive in the Gubeikou area and connect with the local team for the trailhead transfer.
Hike the unrestored ridge and its historic towers, with a short break for food and water.
Continue east if the chosen rail schedule and group pace allow; otherwise use a shorter Gubeikou circuit.
Descend at the agreed point and transfer to the station or return vehicle.
Travel back using the booked rail and road segments.
