Brief itinerary

  1. Meet at the agreed departure point and transfer to Gubeikou.
  2. Walk the approximately 9 km route toward Jinshanling.
  3. Exit at Jinshanling and return by the arranged transport.

Detailed itinerary

This is the planned sequence. Departure time, access, meals and the exact exit are confirmed for your travel date.

  1. Meet and depart

    Use the departure arrangement stated in the value-service proposal.

  2. Gubeikou entrance

    Start along the unrestored ramparts and review the day’s distance.

  3. Long ridge section

    Follow the old Wall and connecting trails toward Jinshanling, taking short rest stops.

  4. Jinshanling transition

    Reach the more substantial towers and partly rebuilt sections.

  5. Finish and food

    Descend at the designated exit and eat according to the selected package.

  6. Beijing connection

    Return by the confirmed shared or private transport.

Walking level and practical details

The original route estimates 4½ hours on foot. Compare guiding language, transport and meals with the private 1AA version.

We will confirm the trail entrance, exit, walking distance, transport and guiding language for your date. Access and conditions can change with the season.
