Brief itinerary

  1. Travel from Beijing to Jinshanling and enter the Wall at the agreed gate.
  2. Walk east across the ridge, pausing at towers to see the changing masonry and the Wall stretching into the distance.
  3. Leave near West Simatai and return by road.

  1. Morning · road to Jinshanling

    Leave Beijing with your guide and drive toward Jinshanling. Review the route and current exit point before entering.

  2. Jinshanling entrance

    Climb to the Wall and take in the long line of towers over the mountain ridges.

  3. Eastern ramparts

    Walk east through a succession of towers. Your guide points out changes between reconstructed brickwork and older sections.

  4. West Simatai side

    Continue over the more irregular part of the ridge as far as access and the group’s pace allow.

  5. Descend and eat

    Leave the Wall at the confirmed exit, then pause for a local lunch or a packed meal according to the final plan.

  6. Return transfer

    Drive back to Beijing. We confirm the expected arrival window with your booking.
