For a Canada citizen, a tourist visa (L visa) can easily be obtained at the Chinese embassy in Canada. Just follow the same instructions that appear on the “China tour from the USA” page. For the visa process, give yourself about 1.5-2 months before you leave just to be safe. Canadian Citizens will receive the visas valid for ten years with multiple entries.

Some of the airlines that offer service to China include: Air Canada, China Eastern, China Southern, Air China, Hainan Airlines, United Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and a host of others.
