Beijing Jingzhao Youth hostel, the super clean, well-run and smart-looking hostel is as central as you can get. Just a few minutes south of the Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City (which can be seen from some rooms) and it's just in the Qianmen Dashilan Business center, The well- known Liu Li Chang Cultural Street is only 10 minutes walk.
Four- and eight-bed dorm rooms have simple pine bunk beds, bathroom inside, TVs, and lockers. Clean, comfortable bedding are provided. Doubles have in suite bathrooms, and, while smaller, do offer better quality accommodation than many similarly priced hotel rooms. The hostel shows every sign of keeping up appearances. There's also a large restaurant that serves reasonably priced western and eastern dishes and is furnished with a faux old-style decor.
