Hohhot
("Blue City" in Mongolian), with a history of over 400 years, is the
capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It covers an area of 6079
square km. Scenic spots and historical sites include th e Museum of Inner
Mongolia, the Tomb of Wang Zhaojun, Five-pagoda Temple, Xilituzhao Palace
and so on. The most interesting things are pastureland tours, the
Mongolian costume, food, etiquette and yurts.
